In addition to mutual fund data, Morningstar is a comprehensive source for global equity data of all types -- from company fundamental financials -- to EOD pricing and performance, asset classification, ownership, security reference data, industry statistics and categorization, company profiles, and executive personnel and compensation. Licensing data from Morningstar provides clients with continuously expanding coverage that includes nearly 95% of global market value and historical data archives from 1975. The universe covers 27,000 companies worldwide and up to 34 years historical financial data that can be analyzed in "as reported", restated or standardized formats for fast, easy company comparison or long term trend analyses. Obsolete stocks are also included, making the data survivorship-bias-free for more accurate performance assessments. The cost of switching resources is typically mitigated by our internal resources that will assist with the implementation including test files and parallel deliveries during the transition.
